Golly, a fair amount, it didn't happen overnight I'm a homeowner, working on my own house How long does this cure before you can paint with latex paint? Is the glazing rabbit primed or painted before you do this? How essential is the whiting on your hands? Does it just keep it from sticking? The sarco putty seems thinner than the Glazol i used - is that just from working it? Do you buy them from the hardware supplier you mentioned last week, or are there other sources? How do you tell if you have compacted it enough? on a larger light, such as a 24"x30", how many points would you use? I've had problems with getting a straight line - it ends up "wavy". Any suggestions? Also please demonstrate corners The glazing bar has got to be perfectly straight, no dips, or gauges, however! Yes, you are right! Yes, the knife flat against the glass definitely helps- I learned the hard way! I've been having some trouble with "tearing" where the putty meets the glass.
