I think so Another question: can we enlarge a selected user's thumbnail, so that we see that image in the larger screen? bob, I can do it by clicking on the image...then it enlarges to fill the right side of the screen Mindy, webcams may be more common to those who engage in distance learning, online collaboration, etc. Many ISDers still do faculty development, stand-up training, etc... thumbnail size may be another feature for registered users... that's true bob post those URLs in the URL tab please so, I've put the previous copies of the presention on the urls tab M is writing book chapters and starting Florida in Spring i tried to go to the URL posted and it doesn't work - i get file not found error on my browser same result here, mindy the powerpoint is online working on the URL ok i was at aect last week and there was a huge lack of "Show Me" in most of the presentations i know a lot of elementary school teachers who don't "show me" -they get all mixed up in the cool themes and creativity maybe at that level "elementary school", there is a need for the affective component, which the "cool themes" would provide for. I'm pretty sure the constructivist paper was measuring "Guided vs Non-Guided" instruction The non-guided was what didn't work how do you help the students address the What If's of real world tasks? You are talking about teaching them real world tasks, but every real world task has a some "What If's?" involved... It seems to me that his First Principles doesn't address the actual "thinking processes", just steps in a task.
