I'm interested in the similarity between concept mapping and problem conceptualization? clarification: in some of our sim experiments, when comparing experts vs. novices, the more expert-like novices became, the more their learning strategies during the sim exercise became. So just wondering if this was a way to assess learning, rather than comparing diagrams at the end of the exercise... Are you familiar with Gibbon's model-centered instruction theory, and if so, are their similarities to your simuation environments? Anything else?
