Yes - we tried it out google images was blocked for us until 3 months ago we had chez mimi blocked! ICT coordiantor decided it failed as a learning platform - other teachers involved didn't agree and I was quite peeved as I'd put lots of work into it - so now on another trial VLP I am trying to get my head around moodle at the moment more help needed contact me any time for Moodle help (it's my job!) cool Joe will do I AGREE she says as Panera keeps cutting her off :) we have been using Moodle for local projects. NING is blocked at school access is a key issue globally I think that's a great idea - but see the problem you've got we open late on weds now but..... Had them download assignments, participate in forums brb I agree about kids grabbing hold of these opportunities - it's amazing the enthusiasm that getting near to these tools engenders in the kids I teach.
